The familiarity and playfulness between Sophie and Andie brought an amazing energy to the shoot. I prompted them at times when I could see a vision playing out before me. Our all-time favorite photo ended up being a sweet capture of them running towards the house, hand in hand, below the big maple. I found out later they have a photo just like that with Andie's family, and they now have the two photos framed in their home side by side.

From the start, Brian was focused on one thing: making the proposal feel thoughtful, intentional, and completely her. A winter proposal adds extra variables, so planning mattered. We talked through timing, foot traffic, weather, and how to keep the moment feeling natural rather than staged. Every decision was made with one goal in mind: letting the proposal unfold smoothly while still feeling exciting.
